you can probably tell I am new to using this SW, I have in-putted my directors loans and thought they would transfer to my balance however they don’t, so unable to reconcile account correctly…any clues would be gratefully received…
Assuming you’re a company, you should have an initial entry from Directors loan account as money out. This would be tagged as a transfer to your current account (e.g. the money you loan the business).
So if you put £200 into the business, create a money out transaction in your DLA for £200, and tag it as a transfer.
At the end of the year, I would normally journal this to something like ‘Capital Introduced’
