Discount on Items per line

Hi, Does anyone know if there is a way to add discount to a quote or invoice on a “per Item” basis. I can see how to make a global discount to an invoice but not line by line

You could add seperate lines and add the discounts individually.

Hi Paul , Thanks for the feed back. I have done this if I have one or 2 items. but sometimes i may have 6 or more that have different discounts of varying amounts. so I would have 12 entries.

If your inventory isn’t too extensive then just create separate inventory items for the discounted values.

If this is too difficult then I would suggest looking at your underlying pricing model.

We have a set of standard discounts for specific items and we use inventory items with negative values to show them on the invoice. Most of our customers just want to see what they have to pay but it is the most valuable ones who deman a full break down.
