Display the whole description on screen

Hello,

On my Invoice Management I see the below. Plenty of space but the description is cut off.
Is there a way to fix that?

When you create and invoice the files line of description is entered into the invoice name field automatically.

The invoice name field is limited to 35 characters.

On the invoice management screen it displays the invoice name field which as I mentioned is limited to 35 characters.

I don’t have “invoice name” on my form? Can it be enabled somewhere?

Would you consider changing the field to something longer?

The invoice name field is available on everyone invoice entry screen (it can not be disabled).

Would you consider changing the field to something longer?

Its not something we are looking to change in the near future but by all means you can raise a feature request in the forum, that way other users can add their vote and we can monitor its popularity.

Hi @Tony359 , you can manually change the description in the invoice name field when creating sales. invoices.You can also be able to go back and modify sales invoices (invoice name field) that have already been issued?

Have you tried checking under:-
Account Settings>Company Settings>Advanced Settings>Name invoices on creation “set to on”
as my invoices look like this

I found the option and the field that cannot be disabled is now visible!
