I have to type this up into quickfile and the again into an estimating software package which will allow importing of excel sheets, how do I export the data in the estimatimates from QF

Ideally you would be best to use the API, or you can get the data from an account back up

The API (“Application Programming Interface”) is a way for 2 applications (such as QuickFile and another software package) to communicate with each other. It does require a bit of coding knowledge, or you may need to hire a developer, but it would offer a tighter and more streamlined integration.
The backup method that @QFBeth suggests would give you a collection of CSV files, which includes the estimate lines and the overview of the estimate, although the back up is taken from a snapshot (e.g. it’s a little bit behind the live database).
