Dropbox Feed problem - please help!

Hi I’ve tried removing Dropbox integration and resetting/restarting it but I can’t get a folder named Quick File Receipts to appear under APPS. Any help gratefully received!

Are you using a Dropbox Business or Dropbox Personal account?

If it’s a business account, make sure you’re checking in your personal folder, for example, Dropbox\John Doe\Apps\Quick File Receipts. If it’s a personal account, you would already be in the “John Doe” folder.

Also try looking on the Dropbox website itself. This link should work for a personal account - https://www.dropbox.com/home/Apps/Quick%20File%20Receipts

Thanks for the reply, it’s a personal Dropbox Plus account, I can see the folder if I click on your above link and I can see the files in the folder.

Certainly a bit strange if the files are all appearing OK :thinking:

Do you only have one Dropbox account? Is it possible that it’s linked a different account?

So what exactly are you seeing/not seeing. Initially you said you can’t make a folder appear (you can’t create one, or never see one?) but then it is there so it sounds you are looking in and/or have the wrong account linked.

So the steps I took were:

  1. Click Remove Dropbox Integration
  2. Click Setup Dropbox Integration
  3. Click Poll Dropbox Now

That’s when I get the message that Quick File can’t find any items to import

When I checked my Dropbox account, QF had not added a folder named Quick File Receipts

So I repeated steps 1-3 with the same result.

Next I repeated step 1, then manually added the folder into Dropbox and populated it, repeated steps 2 and 3 but with the same result.

When I run step 1, should step 2 then ask me which account to link? Because currently it is not.

If you are already logged in it will just link the account you are logged into. If you aren’t logged in it will ask you to log in then you log in to the account you want to link Quickfile to.

So I just logged out of Dropbox completely. Tried to add integration again, chose the correct Dropbox account but still no luck. No folder has been built in APPS.
