Edit Tags

I have a couple of question on tags:2.

1. I created a tag pas1 in error (it should have been pdl1). Is there anyway to edit a tag?
2. Is there anyway to see a list of tags?
3. Is there a way to delete a tag?
4. Finally is there a way to see all invoices and the tags associated with them? I want to find those invoices that I have forgotten to tag.

Hi @3Unique

To try and answer your questions:

1. I don’t think it is possible but you could create a new tag and then update existing invoices to that tag.
2. Yes, go Reports > Projects
3. Yes, from Reports > Projects. View the tag and then press “Delete all tags”
4. Yes, on the Invoice screen, select “Show tags”

You can also search by untagged, tagged and even specific tags

Does this delete the tag from the tag or just remove it from the invoices?

I want to delete the tag so that it does not show as an option. As an example:

I have created two tags:

pdl1
pdl1a

But I created pdl1 by mistake and don’t want it to show up when I type pdl in the tag box on an invoice.

Is that possible?

I think once you’ve removed from all tags from invoices and purchases you can then click to Archive

I can confirm that this stops the tag from appearing when you try to add it. This could also be used if you wanted to leave items tagged but not use any more (as the project was over)

Thank you this so helpful. I will study it tomorrow but what you describe is just what I need.

There is a lot under the hood in QF. Some of it a bit hidden!
