Thank you for your understanding, these things have a tendency to happen on weekends and bank holidays… Sod’s law!

We are already working on a fix to prevent any recurrence here.

Also we’re coming up with something better than Email failed to send. Check email format is valid. This message is almost meaningless, it happens whenever an email fails to send through our SMTP server or a customer SMTP server. The updates we deploy will provide a much more detailed error response.
