Error: HMRC Error Code: 500 - return saved

hello,
I got “Error: HMRC Error Code: 500”
then I can see on the /reports/vatreturns → my return but status SAVED
when click VIEW I can see: this VAT Return has not been submitted to HMRC

how can I submit the declaration now?

Hello @macuser

If you have a return which is saved and not submitted you can rollback the return and then re run it to submit.

To do this

• Open the return and click Rollback Return
• Re run the vat return
• Ensure the figures are correct and “Submit Return”
