I’m looking at our balance sheet for 2019.It appears to be carrying forward a number of entries from 2018 which shouldn’t be there. Our accountant has made all the relevant entries to 2018 and as far as I can tell has closed off 2018 via the Year End tool - is there something else we need to do to stop figures from 2018 carrying forward? We tried clicking on the Save button under the Account Lock Date for 2018 but that just refreshed the page and didn’t seem to do anything at all.Any help would be appreciated.

Which entries in particular? The only thing that shouldn’t carry forward once you’ve done the year end is “P&L account”, which the year end journal moves to retained profit. The other balance sheet codes the opening balance for this year should be the closing balance from last year, it doesn’t reset like the P&L does.
