We have had a Council Tax Bill for 2023/24, so I have enteretd it as a Purchase for the full amount. Payment will be made in 10 equal monthly intalments (by Direct Debit) - is there a way I can set up 10 future payments on the system, which will appear automatically?
As far as I know no - you can set up a recurring purchase profile that would create ten separate purchases for each instalment, but you can’t create future payments against the same purchase. You just have to tag the transactions as they appear in your bank account (as “Payment to a supplier”, “pay down multiple invoices”, select the supplier, then it should show the outstanding purchase to assign the payment).
