How can I use quickfile to work for me, I sell eggs at the front gate (unmanned) and want to use QR codes for payment. Is this possible using quickfile, when sales are ad hoc and not invoiced!
Just thinking about the user experience for this and I’m not sure QR codes would be a great way for payment; they would have to follow the link and then might have to type in their card details on a phone; what if they didn’t have signal there? Would they remember to complete payment later? Someone could easily stick their own QR code over the top and you might not even notice.
What payment provider are you thinking of? Can you get one that offers kiosk like payment terminals that can be locked down and simply have options for 6 eggs, 12 eggs, etc? Then people could mostly just use a contactless card. I know these kiosks exist for donations so chances are you can get them for this.
Or stick with old school and have a secure box with a slot for cash.
One option would be to use a payment provider like Stripe to offer up simple payment links. Quickfile has support for Stripe so that transactions will appear in your accounts.
The documentation on Stripe payment links is here: Payment Links | Stripe Documentation - you would just create a simple shop item selling boxes of eggs and then create a QR code from that payment link to display on your stall.
