Trying to renew authorisation, keeps returning this message when returning to QF: Halifax authorisation server returned an error: server_error

We have not had any other issues or reports with Halifax today.

I would recommend trying the following

  • Disable VPN if you are using one.
  • Log off QuickFile, clear your browser cache and retry.
  • Possible try a different browser.
  • Possibly try from the browser on your phone.

Success… but I found I also needed to undertake a full restart and then repeat the step 2 in your recommendation.
