Hide system bank account from dashboard

Hi,
I have an old bank account from a partnership in my new LTD company QF account.
It is now unused. I understand the need to keep it in QF however I would like to hide it so that my dashboard isn’t cluttered with unused accounts.
I am told that its a system account and therefore can’t be deleted. But I can’t hide it either.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

You’re not able to hide or remove system accounts

Have you changed from a partnership to a Ltd company, but kept the same QuickFile account?

You definitely want to make sure you’re not mixing the old partnership activity with the new Limited company, it will create a headache later. Whenever you form a new Limited company you will need to create a new QuickFile account.

Thanks both.

We do have a new quick file account, and all the accounts are separate. However we have changed bank accounts. The fact it is the old partnership account is misleading. My apologies, that’s not the point.
Its now un-used and I don’t need to see it on the dashboard for the rest of time.

Many thanks

Ben

Do you have the nominal account number of the bank account you wish to hide? You can see this by looking at the bank account settings.

1200

Thanks Glenn.

Ben

1200 is the system current account and it seems you can’t remove that from the dashboard. This seems unnecessarily restrictive so I have asked for this to be relaxed.

In the mean time I’ve manually removed it from the dashboard on account ending 009.

Thanks Glenn,

Appreciated.

hi Glenn,
i dont use my system current account either, nominal 1200 could you hide mine from the Dashboard please

thanks

If you can hang on for 2 days (max) you will be able to go into that account’s settings and uncheck it from appearing on the dashboard.

EDIT:

@jpitsolutions you can now hide your default bank account from the dashboard by going into the bank account settings and unchecking this box.
