How do I account for an old expense on a rental property?

Basically I’m a sole trader and just started renting out my old house November last year. Back in 2012 I purchased a new kitchen on my personal credit card but didn’t fit it until just before I rented the property out. I have a separate bank account for the rental property and have that under my accounts on here - my main business is as a marine consultant. Hope someone can advise!
