How do I lock year end journals

Hi,
I have attempted to complete my year end process but have noticed that my year end

Once you run year end process you need to save the closing journals generated

The year does not get locked until the following year (in journal entries) but the transactions (sales/purchases) are locked once you run a Year End Process -
