How do I record an honourarium that was given to me please? I have entered the amount they transferred into my bank account but do not know what I should tag it with, what category etc and how I might record it again the charity who gave it to me.

I would tag it to General Sales, or Miscellaneous Income.
Unless it was a personal gift to you, then its either tagged as a transfer to the DIR loan account or to the drawings account, as money you put into the business.

It was remiss of me not to write and say thank you at the time I read this back in July. It was very helpful but I read it on my phone and thought I would answer when viewing on the PC which I haven’t done until now!
