How to add delivery charge but avoid it being affected by the invoice discount

Quick question. I know I can add delivery to an invoice by adding a new line. However I do not wish discount that I have applied via the interface to affect the delivery charges.

I only want the discount affect the invoice items. How do I do that?

Hi @darrenb

The best way to achieve this is to add a negative value item line to the invoice, rather than using the “add discount” option.

Although this will mean you will have to manually work out the amount of discount you want to have on the invoice.

Thank for the reply. Yes that would work. Just use the discount option to work out the amount then disable it and add the discount as a negative value. Thanks for the suggestion.
