I’m a small publisher and I use project tags so that purchases and sales relating to each publication can be tagged and used in breakeven and profitability calculations. However, when I download all the sales or purchase invoices the tag information has been lost. I know that I can access this from project reports, but I want to see all invoices (across all projects) in one file and have the tag information preserved in the same file. Is there any way I can achieve this?
Are you downloading from here (Invoice Management Area)?
This export doesn’t currently retain all project tags but it may be possible we can update it to do so.
Hi Glenn,
Yes, that’s where I’m doing the download. It would be very useful if the tags were appended as extra columns in the CSV file.

OK I’ve noted that down in our planner so we should be looking at that in the next 1-2 weeks. I will update you when this has been looked at.
We now include an extra column with a comma separated list of tags on the invoice list download. In order for this to appear ensure that the following option is invoked (top, right corner of the invoice management screen).
Now when you export the data using the method I described earlier the tags column will be included.
Hope that helps!
Hi Glenn,
That’s great; thanks for being so responsive. I tested the feature for my sales invoices and it works fine. For a full P&L analysis of my projects, I need the same feature to work on my Purchase invoices, which it doesn’t at present. Would it be possible to add the same feature for Purchases?

Noted and have passed that on, it shouldn’t be a problem.

@Tony just to confirm that this has now been included on the purchase side too.
