How to tag a EUR transaction as director loan to the company ?

Is the EUR transaction on a bank account you have set up in QuickFile?

If so you would tag it as a bank transfer, select the Directors loan account and enter the GBP amount.

So It mean that I can set myself the rate or could I use a xe rate ? is there a plugin with xe for that purpose ?

Yes I have entered the Euro transaction on a Euro bank account on QuickFile

Any transaction entered onto QuickFile needs converting back to GBP for your chart of accounts

When you first enter the Euro transaction the XE.com rate is entered automatically

• Open your Euro bank on QuickFile and fill in the screen shown above.
• Once entered, click Tag me >Transfer between accounts
• Select Directors loan account and the amount your received in GBP
