HSBC uploading statement failure

Hi
Recently HSBC have changed their Online format - as a result of this I now keep getting a error message when I upload my statements see below

We are having some problems mapping your file
Please contact us if you need any help!.

I have resubmitted old statments from HSBC and quickfiles rcognises them so I just skip them as conflict proving old statements are compatable and new statements are not

My point is has anyone else had this issue and how did they rectify it or does Quickfile have to rectify their Side as an upgrade to become compatable with the new HSBC statement csv statement files???

Im sure its simple but I’m no expert and wasted two days on this already

Any advice
Cheers
Robert

Hi @SRP

If you upload the statement using the “Other” option as the bank, you should be able to manually map the columns.

There does seem to be a bit of a pattern with HSBC changing their CSV to a new format, and back again.

Hi QFMathew

Ive also tried that - It allows me to remap the colums then defaults back to the same message

My next option tomorrow is to actually manually over type one of my statements that Quickfile recognises and resave as a new CSV file - Its the only way I can think of getting round what must be embedded error from the new HSBC format throwing Quickfile into a wobbler

Any other Ideas/suggestions welcome
Cheers
Robert

Hi @SRP

Certainly sounds a bit odd! What I will do, is send you a private message and we’ll take a look at the statement for you.
