Import previous package data

I have been using a different package for the last few years and now moving to Quickfile. If possible I would like to import my previous data but my previous software will only export to excel (.xls) and not CSV. Can I still import this data, or is it a lost cause, and just creating a journal from last year end figures would be the easier option? Thanks

Welcome to QuickFile!

If they are Excel format, you can open them as re-save them as a .CSV file.

However, a common way to get started is to export a trial balance from your old package and import that into QuickFile. This sets up your opening balances.

Would you mind me asking what your previous package was?
