I noticed last week that a card processing fee is still added to invoices when a customer makes a card payment with the stripe integration. Is this still legal?
It is still legal to charge a fee, but the way you do it and the amount you charge is bound by the rules, e.g. you can’t just add an exorbitant fee at the checkout without clear warning.
Card surcharges are banned completely for consumer sales but still allowed (subject to restrictions) for business-to-business sales.
