Invoice number issues

I have been messing around with it:sob: and deleted and restored and changed the number etc etc can you help !

Please accept my apologies, but I’m not sure I quite understand the issue here. Have you changed invoice numbers and want to change them back, or is it something different?

Sorry about that, basically we have a number system for the start of year for 2018 and starts with 018001.

They have been fine up until 018007, in which we had to delete it normally a prefix is added and this usually means that we can still use the number. However I restored it and then it was changed again and the number sequence has changed

When you create your next invoice, you can manually set the invoice number and the system will pick up from there.
