Invoice template options

Hi. So I think I’m right in my understanding that you can’t currently have more than one template for an invoice unless you use Custom Trading Styles which isnt right for what is needed either. Recurring invoices dont seem to work for this each payment would be a different amount.

I’d like to either be able to:

Have a few templates set up that I could choose from for all clients as and when required. For example a ‘Deposit’ invoice, an Interim Payment Invoice and a Final Balance invoice.

Or ideally,

Have one invoice where it shows the deposit due and its due date, the interim payment and its due date, the final balance and its due date. Followed by the outstanding balance as it changes when payments are received.

I’m sure many business models do a similar thing where they take on a job that requires multiple instalments against one whole balance so i must be missing something I think.
