Is there anything that reads the receipts once scanned in, OCR is performed and uploads to receipt hub to be tagged to the correct transaction in quickfile?
There isn’t anything that automatically reads it I’m afraid. It’s just an easy way to import documents (text, image or PDF) into your account ready for tagging.
Sometimes when I send machine-readable PDFs to the receipt hub (ones where you can copy and paste text, not ones scanned from paper documents) and create a new purchase from there it does seem to pre-populate the invoice date field to match the PDF. But other times it uses today’s date, I guess it depends how sensible is the logical format of the PDF data.
