Lloyds .qif issue

For the last few years I’ve been manually downloading .qif files from our lloyds bank account and importing into Quickfile. Recently I have noticed that Quickfile is missing part of the reference off transactions which makes it harder to tie things up. An example of the issue is below

Lloyds bank reference: NEWCASTLE CC - PAR CD 9999
Quickfile reference: NEWCASTLE CC - PAR

The last part of the reference would be used to identify which card was used but as Quickfile only shows part of the reference I have to log back into the bank account and then manually copy the reference into Quickfile.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue is there a workaround?

Thanks

Hi @bigfootnetworks

We generally use the data that’s include in the qif file (up to the maximum allowed characters). In your example you show the description has got shorter, which at first glance suggests it may be Lloyds who have altered this.

If you don’t mind, I’ll contact you privately - perhaps you could send me a copy of this file and we’ll take a look into this to see what’s going on?
