I have been all of a sudden locked out of an account by the subscription gateway, asking me to purchase a power user subscription to access the account.
The curious thing is that the account had a power subscription that expired in March 2021, and I happily used the account ever since, without any subscriptions.
Why have I been all of a sudden locked out of the account with no obvious reasons?
I know that having a certain number of nominal entries in the books gets you onto a higher, and eventually paid tier, but I in fact have deleted many entries (and only added fewer aggregating entries).
I’ve taken a look at the account associated with your email address, and can see that you have 1,140 ledger entries which have been created in the last 12 months. Accounts with 1,000+ nominal ledger entries require a subscription to continue using QuickFile, which is why you are seeing the notification regarding the charge.
I have attached your postings by date from your account usage report below for reference.
I recommend taking a look at the following guides and checking out the ledger count, so you can see how this is broken down for your account:
I cannot verify these figures as I cannot log onto the system.
The payment blocking does not give any details whatsoever, only that I have to pay up - not very userfriendly (quite the converse, actually).
The only think I can say is that the account associated with the Email I post under is a different account than the account/company in question.
Also, I do not recognise the figures you gave here; especially the numbers for the last few days (3 and 5 April) making up half of the 1,000 entries quota appear excessive and in no relation to what I have done in the last week.
Please take this private so that we can sort this out.
Hi
For more info regards account usage you can go to https://yourcompany.quickfile.co.uk/account/usagereport and should be accessible even if your ledger usage is over the threshold.
