I’m new to quickfile and have set up a test account to iron out problems before statring to use it at beginning of new financial year next month. I am having difficulty logging takings. I have used the cash register tool to log weekly takings but these do not appear on the bank statement although purchases do. I can see they are registered in the petty cash and merchant accounts but how do I show them on the bank statement. I’d be grateful for any clarification. I cannot link the bank account as the management committee are not fully confident with the system as yet.
Cash register is for cash sales , once you bank actual cash you need to record transfer between account option , any taking coming into bank account directly should come into QF via bank feed which can be tagged to sales nominal
