Loss of pre saved credentials with lloyds plug in

Hi,

we are still having problems with the lloyds plug in losing pre saved credentials, primarily our Quick File Import Key, although we have had issues with password, account number and user id being swapped around.

is there a fix available for this

Hi @00SCD00

What version of Google Chrome are you using?

There was a fix released a short while back due.

Google Chrome 65.0.3325.181

i have also tried removing and reinstalling the plug in but that had no effect

Are you logged into Chrome itself or use it without a Google account?

wouldnt know the difference so not sure

There are two ways to check.

If you go to the three dots in the top right hand corner, and select Settings, this will load the settings tab for you. At the top of the tab, you’ll see a section called People. If you’re signed in, it will show a user here with the option to log out.

The second way to tell is usually Chrome displays a name in the top right corner:

not logged in, just use it with a google account

Thanks for confirming!

There was an issue with Chrome identified a few weeks back, where the data was lost when Chrome was closed. This was due to a change in the way Chrome saves data. We had to change this method to use a different form of storage, but this does require you to be logged into Chrome.

Are you able to log into Chrome with a Google account and give it another go please?
