Hi, I had a Starling open bank feed previously and this worked great, it showed Payee and Reference field and was easy to match up payments to customers and invoices.
Now I have switched to a Monzo Business Bank account and have connected it to the Open Banking Feed. The feed for Monzo only pulls through ‘reference/description’ and does not pull through the ‘Payee’ feed in the Bank Transactions List in Quickfile. The issue here is, I’m a web designer so most of my customers might put ‘WEBSITE’ as their reference so I have great difficulty pairing it up not knowing which customer sent the payment. I have contacted Monzo about this and they advised me that the data ‘Payee’ is sent in their feed and needs to be enabled at the Quickfile end. Is this possible?
I tried a work around - which would be less than ideal as I would rather use the automated open banking feed. This was to create a template for a manual statement upload using ‘Other’ and map the columns, but there aren’t enough columns available to add this additional Payee column which is shown in the .CSV Monzo statement file.
Would it be possible to add the Monzo Payee field to your open banking feed as Monzo has advised it is being sent.
