We are currently using Quickfile via our accountant’s portal. I assume this is Affinity. However we are moving away from them and I am wondering how easy it would be to simply move to a power-user account having signed up and paid my subscription.
I ensure that we have our backups, but what about restoring them? Direct debit mandates? Bank feeds etc?
In other words, will I need to put a month aside for this?
Hi @micatek
Who set up the QuickFile account, and who is the account administrator?
If you’re unsure who the admin is, you can go to Account Settings >> Team Management. If you’re not the admin, it will tell you who is, there.
Hi @QFMathew
I’ve sent a personal reply (don’t know if I did it correctly) as this would contain private information. Did you get it?
Carl.
If you are the admin then you should just be able to revoke the “quickfile-affinity” user from team management to detach your account from your accountant’s system. If the accountant is the admin then they would have to transfer the admin rights to you first and then detach your “profile” from their affinity dashboard. At that point it would become a normal standalone QuickFile account.
Hi @micatek
Apologies - I have received your private message and just need to check some details with a colleague. I’ll reply to your PM shortly.
