MTD - Digital VAT Return Issue

Hi I’m trying to submit a digital vat return however am getting the following message:-

You are not yet authorised to view this report for the VRN 138613411. Please ensure your VAT number is correct and you have connected the corresponding HMRC Tax Account. If you have recently enrolled on the MTD scheme please allow 24 hours for HMRC systems to update.

  • our vat number is correct and we have setup MTD

please help…

Hi @Gurnack,

This error is returned by HMRC and usually occurs if the set up has not fully completely. Have you had the confirmation email from them? and if you were to log into HMRC directly can you see that MTD is live?

Another thing to check, if you have multiple gateway accounts that you have linked the correct one
