My Paypal balance has always been in the - numbers because of the start date that I chose for the account, what confuses me is everyday when I receive & spend money in my Paypal account the - figure gets deeper & deeper into - numbers & I am confused as to why this is, are PayPal taking too much money from me in fees & just not telling me but QuickFile is picking up on this?

It’s tricky when working blind, but check things like your opening balance. Do a bank reconciliation, month by month if needed.
Check for duplicates too. There’s a setting to ignore money being transferred to your bank account (I’d post a screenshot, but I’m on a mobile do it’s proving a bit tricky!). You may find that QuickFile are putting one in from the import, but when you tag one you’re also creating a second one which would push your account deeper into the red.
If you have any more info like when did it start happening, is there much difference, can you see any unusual transactions etc, that would help
