We are pleased to announce a brand new integration with Stripe. Stripe is an innovative new payment service provider from the States that set up shop in the UK this August. Stripe aims to simplify the process of accepting debit and credit card payments online.
Stripe offer a low cost transparent fee for each transaction, and unlike traditional card processors there is no monthly fee or minimum charge. Stripe can be used by firms of any size but should be particularly useful for UK start ups.
Activating Stripe on Quick File
It takes just a few minutes to open a new Stripe account, you can complete the process within the Manage payment options area.
Towards the bottom of the screen you will see an option to activate a new account:
Once you have activated your Stripe account you are ready to start collecting payments. This is all handled within the ‘Online payment screen’. Just click the green Stripe button and a dialogue box will appear where your client can enter their card details.
All new Stripe payments will be deposited in full to a separate holdings account (you can find this under merchant accounts in the bank management area). Whenever Stripe transfer funds to your current account, just tag it as a transfer from this merchant account.
