New to QuickFile - Questions on tracking sales

Hi,

I have just registered as a sole trader and came across QuickFile and I must say I am really enjoying it so far.

I currently import items from abroad and sell them on eBay and on a couple of websites.

I was wondering if it is possible to use QuickFile to keep track of all the charges and fees involved with importing and selling online so I am able to see my net profit on sales and therefore know how much tax I should have to pay.

For example keeping track of customs duty, customs VAT, postage costs, PayPal fees, eBay fees etc.

Is this something I can do fairly easily using QuickFile?

Any help or clarification would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Will

You could add project tags to the relevant invoices.

I see, so add a tag with information on import fees paid for a purchase invoice.

And a tag for postage, ebay, paypal fees etc. when an item is sold?

Yes. You can then view reports on the invoices that are tagged so you can get a report on running totals of various fees and charges etc.
