Hello, I’m looking at moving my accounts to Quickfile. My current Excel system and backup have just been damaged by computer failure. I need to enter records back to the start of the financial year so I have a full set for the Accountant. Can I set up Quickfile and start from my balance as of 1 April, importing my bank transactions and manually adding invoice and expenditure details?
Hi AC_RTW, yes you can all do this. Have a look at the knowledge base, there are lots of step by step description to setup your account. I’m with quickfile for many months now and I’m very happy. It’s very easy to use.
As @rhc mentioned, we do have quote a few guide in the #knowledgebase to help you get started.
If you have access to online banking, this may be a good place to start. If you have a balance sheet or trial balance for the end of last year, you could use this as your opening balances (as at end of year), and enter data from there.
