No option to tag PayPal bank transfer

Hello,

I would like to tag an amount that I transfered from my PayPal account to my proprietory account but there does not appear to be the option. When I go to tag the transaction within the PayPal feed I get all my account listed to transfer from but there is no PayPal in the list of options. If this is the case how do I go about recording this transfer then?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Managed to resolve by adding the transaction from the Proprietor Drawings account end as could not do it from PayPal account.

I just want to be sure I understand the situation correctly.

  • You have a transaction in your PayPal account
  • You’re trying to tag it as a transfer to your drawings account
  • However, the drawings account isn’t showing as an option.

Is that correct?

Hi QF Support,

That’s partly correct. I was in my PayPal account looking to tag a transaction to my drawings account but the mistake I made was thinking I was looking for the from account, which was not listed as I was in PayPal. So I went to my Drawings account and did it from that end. I see now where I was going wrong.
