I went to see a customer today, who by chance I had happened to invoice this morning. When she is logged in and opens the invoice at her end, and clicks pay online, the page appears with the summary of the invoice but no payment options. Should show Stripe & GoCardless.
If I log into my accounts and click on ‘impersonate client’ and do the same thing it works fine and I can see the payment options. Why can’t she see them?
What you see when you impersonate your client, you see exactly what they see. So if you see the buttons, they should too.
Are they part of a large company? In some cases, larger companies can block certain parts of the site loading correctly due to their firewall for example.
If you could send us a screenshot of what they’re seeing, then we’re happy to take a look to see if this can be narrowed down.
They pay everything else on a reoccurring DD so paying a one off invoice isn’t something we’ve done with them before. Definitely not disabled payment options. Only change we’ve made recently is to ‘push’ invoices into their system.
