Incoming payments from clients using GoCardless gets auto tagged to the GoCardless Holding Account. This is good and helpful.
Also the payment in the GoCardless Holding Account gets tagged to the client invoice. But we do not get the option to send a payment received email to the client as it has already been tagged.
That’s correct. But the client does receive a notice of payment before the money leaves their account, which GoCardless sends. This is part of the Direct Debit guarantee, so they would be aware that the payment is leaving their account.
