If you go to reports balance sheet --> purchase tax control account you see [eg Items for purchase #QF00006] and that’s it - it’s not very helpful to know what the invoice is without clicking each one. If you click “show notes” - nothing appears.
However, if you go to P&L and click on a expense line eg Hosting Fees and IT Consumables (7506), you get the same view [Items for purchase #QF00006] but if you click on “show notes” you get to see the invoice supplier and some details.
Why are the notes missing from the balance sheet report for the same invoice?
