Old transactions re-imported after updating the tagging in Starling business account

Hi. I made some updates (tagging, adding notes, adding receipts, etc.) to older transactions on my Starling business account and I noticed that some of the transaction where I changed the starling tagging were re-imported into QF, creating duplicates.
There aren’t too many so I can easily remove them manually but wanted to know if you’d like to check it beforehand.

Did you change the name of the transaction? If you’ve changed these details then the duplicate checker won’t recognise that it’s a duplicate

Thank that explains it. I’ve probably changed the names in QF long time ago.
I thought there’s some sort of unique ID for each transaction in the background. Based on your reply it sounds that it is simply the date and the transaction name.
