Hi all. Its my year end and my paypal account seems screwed. Its showing a balance of -5,877.21 as of the 31st january 2017 (my year end) also my go cardless account is showing a balance of 1,253.54
All of the transactions are tagged ok, the balance as been transffered to and from the current account. The current account is the correct amounts too. I am not sure what the heck has gone on. How would you guys show / post the incorrect values ?

The best thing to do here is to try and reconcile it as you would a normal bank account. PayPal offers a list of transactions which you can download as a .csv file (or pdf I believe), so you can cross-reference things on a short timeframe, e.g. weekly or monthly.
With GoCardless, the fact that it’s a positive balance suggests either you’re missing a few transfers, or the fees haven’t been accounted for correctly. Again, you may be able to do the same here. I believe GoCardless offers some sort of payout report, but I don’t think it can be exported.
