PayPal feed settings & user accounts

I believe I have raised this before but I am having problems in understanding why my Client PayPal payments have no reference to their emails within their account.
I have set up the paypal feed as “Create and allocate to clients based on their PayPal email address” but on checking their account details there is no email being assigned to the client account.
Am not not configuring the feed correctly?

I don’t believe we ever created email contact records directly from the PayPal feed, just the client header record.

The PayPal feed settings description includes “Create and allocate to clients based on their PayPal email address” and as far as I can see the client account is not based on the email address and therefore the client would not be able to review any of the paypal payments that have been created using the PayPal feed…
One thing you can’t do is to Impersonate client.

The client accounts are grouped together by the account ID supplied by PayPal, that means if you get a repeat client (providing that client is using the same PayPal account) it will lump them under the same client header in QuickFile.

You can see the client account ID supplied by PayPal in the client details under Account Reference.
