Hi. I have registered for MTD VAT with HMRC, however I believe I have read the info incorrectly. Apparently any returns from April 19 are supposed to be on MTD, however I read it as any returns made after April 1st are MTD. I still have my q/e March return to do, and have been told this should be the old way, but I can’t now do this via HMRC website. Anyone have any ideas? Does Quickfile still upload these?

If you’ve enrolled on MTD, HMRC will only accept MTD returns from the point that they confirm it. Even though it may not be required for your next return, you can still register on a voluntary basis before then.
If you were to submit a return using an older method, HMRC will reject it.
