Hello,
I would like to be able to create an invoice via the API which also uses a project tag to tag against a new invoice but it doesn’t seem to be in the schema currently.
I’ve found the Invoice_Search schema includes a search for a project tag so would it be possible to add the ability to tag a new invoice?

I will make a recommendation that this tag be added. I’m sure it won’t be difficult to implement, although I can’t say when unfortunately. The person that would need to look at this is on leave until July.

We’ve been delayed ourselves doing the development work on this but we are starting first week in September to build our API integration.
Is the api extension project tag invoices still ok from your end?

I’ve just put in a request for this to be reviewed. All going well it should be available within the next 2 weeks.

We haven’t had a chance to look just yet as we’ve had quite a lot of other things on. However I’ve asked if this could be expedited.
Provisionally I’d say 2 weeks.
EDIT:
We’ve just completed the work on this within our development system. We’ve added an optional node ProjectTags to the Invoice_Create schema:
We should have this live in the next day or two.
Superb, thanks Glenn! We’ll be finalising our code in the next few weeks so when it’s live we’ll test and confirm here that it all works 
It’s actually live now for whenever you area ready to use it.
Just to report that we’ve implemented our code which uses the project tag on invoice create and it works fine.
