Proprietor or Partner Drawings not showing as a payment option

Why can’t I tag Proprietor or Partner Drawings as a payment?
The drop down only displays Bank / Credit Card and Cash accounts that I set up

The nominal called “Proprietor or Partner Drawings” in the default set is under the capital section so you can’t use it directly for payments. There should be a separate “bank” account called something like “proprietor drawings account” - if there isn’t, then create one from the bank management screen under the “equity accounts” category. You can then use the drawings bank account for day to day transactions during the year, and then just journal the balance across to the capital account as part of your year end.
