Purchase_Search returning incomplete results

Hi, I have been able to use the API to retrieve purchases. Unfortunately I have spotted that a few purchases are not coming through the API. For one supplier with two purchases only one of them comes back through the API, for another supplier no purchase comes through at all. I have tried requesting the purchases by receipt number, supplier ID and by supplier name, all with the same result.

Can you offer any assistance?
