Receipt not showing in Dashboard or Document Manager

I have scanned a receipt and put it in my Dropbox Quickfile folder… it saved ok but did not appear in the dashboard … but it is showing in the “Imported” receipts folder in Dropbox, what is going on ?

Hi John,

Can you confirm the last 3 digits of your QuickFile account number please and I’ll take a quick look?

It seems I have 2 import folders under my dropbox with 2 different numbers … one ending 4934 which matches my company and one ending 4330 which does not match any of my quickfile companies.

The receipt has been imported to the 4330 one … what has happened ?

The accounting ending 4330 does appear to be registered in your name, but hasn’t been accessed since 2014.

It could just be the case of accidentally putting the file in the wrong folder on this occasion. QuickFile doesn’t actually create any folders for accounts, so the 4330 must have existed for the file to have gone there.

If you don’t use that account (4330), I’d recommend deleting that folder, or at least moving it outside the ‘apps’ folder to prevent this happening again. If it should happen again, please let us know.

Ok, I deleted all the folders in the imported folder and have just uploaded a receipt to the main App/Quickfile Receipts folder and it created the 4330 folder again and put it there…

Which account is 4330 ??

Looking at the account 4934, it’s actually linked to a different Dropbox account
