Receipts for online payments?

I knew there was something I needed to ask before I started making suggestions.

We’ve just had our first payment received via PayPal from a client, which got correctly added to the invoice automatically by QF. But, there was no outbound email to the client (our SMTP servers BCC in an archiving address) to confirm receipt of payment, which I assumed is what the email template was for.

Is there an option to enable automated receipts from online payments? No big deal if theres not, just want to check I’m not missing something.

If they pay by PayPal we don’t send the payment confirmation email and unfortunately there’s no setting to do this. They should however received a payment confirmation from PayPal.

We only added the payment confirmation itself a couple of months ago so it’s still in it’s early stages.
