Hello, I’m trying to file a vat return for a client and the link to HMRC has expired as it is over 18 months. Apparently I need to remove the link to HMRC and reconnect. However, when I go to Reports/VAT screen I am unable to click the disconnect button as it is greyed out. Any suggestions as I need to file the client’s return. Thank you!
Are you logging into their account via Affinity?

Thank you for confirming - you will need to renew via Affinity. So once you’ve logged into your Affinity Dashboard go to Tools >> HMRC Agent Services Account
You can then renew the consent from there
